He wanted to be a trial lawyer and as a result he joined the Dallas County District Attorney's Office in 1996. When he left in 2004 he had risen to the rank of Number Two Felony Prosecutor and had tried over 200 bench and jury trials ranging from DWIs to Capitol Murder. His experience and training as an Assitant District Attorney has allowed him to just about see it all. He knows how the system works.
